Grief and Loss

Inundated. Frozen. Rolled under. Swept away.

The grinding gut and flood of sadness – waves of grief can knock you down and drag you under.

Your whole world has shifted – and it will never be the same.

Relentless. Startling. Incessant.

Riding these waves can seem eternal. Just when you think you’re coming out of it, it strikes again – without warning.

Trapped by its unpredictability, you’re avoiding social situations – sometimes they avoid you – for fear of another crying jag.

When – how – will it end?

Grief is coping with loss and change, and it isn’t a straight line. It’s a process.

Just because you cried yourself out over something once doesn’t mean you’re over it, and it’s okay to keep processing.

It’s YOUR process!

The loss of something cherished – a loved one, your marriage, your career, your health – severely disturbs your peace of mind.

When that happens, you need support.

Safe, nonjudgmental connection – to process the pain and to find the path back to your sense of well-being.

Of course, you need family and friends for support in times of loss, but they’re too close – too emotionally enmeshed in your situation.

You need encouragement and guidance – from someone on the outside.

Someone who can offer a higher perspective that brings renewed peace of mind.

It’s time to grow beyond the pain, to discover the freedom to release the suffering.

My approach is unique, and I support you in finding a higher perspective.

I offer the listening ear that you crave and an objective eye to help you gain insight into the loss you’re experiencing.

I support you to reconnect with the energy that seems to be lost. To explore the source of suffering – the thoughts beyond the loss.

This is an opportunity to find meaning and gain a broader view of life during these periods of transition.

But it takes time, so cut yourself some slack!

You know if you’re drowning in sadness. Don’t try to go it alone or avoid your feelings.

You’re already in the midst of the storm.

There is FREEDOM on the other side. And, together, we can make it there.
